ABOUT OWEN

Owen discovered his passion for live theatre at a young age while performing in community theatre productions. Although he loved being onstage, he was equally fascinated by the collaboration and creativity behind every production. As his interests evolved, he became drawn to the marketing, administrative, and creative work that brings theatre to life, ultimately leading him to pursue a degree in Arts Administration with a minor in Theatrical Design and Technology and Business Administration at Elon University.

In 2023, Owen began his professional career working on the North American national tour of Legally Blonde The Musical. That opportunity led to continued work on national tours including The Cher Show, Little Women, and The Addams Family. Through these experiences, he developed a passion for digital marketing and audience engagement, learning how strategic storytelling and creative campaigns can expand a show's reach and build excitement for audiences across the country.

At Elon University, Owen served as Artistic Director of Renegade Productions, the university's student-run theatre organization, where he directed the immersive production of The SpongeBob Musical and helped lead the organization through a season of student-produced work. He has also spent three summers at The Cape Playhouse, gaining experience in artistic administration, marketing, and front-of-house operations while supporting both artistic planning and audience engagement at one of the country's most celebrated regional theatres.

Owen is passionate about the intersection of theatre, marketing, and arts leadership and is committed to creating meaningful audience experiences while helping theatrical organizations connect with communities through innovative storytelling and strategic engagement.
